Areas likely to be affected include the Wimmera, North Central and South West forecast districts and parts of the Mallee, Northern Country, North East and Central forecast districts. Reduced visibility in fog will make road conditions dangerous during Friday about the Yarra Valley. Road Weather Alert for Melbourne Transport Victoria advises drivers to: Slow down and drive carefully. Leave more space between you and the vehicle in front. It takes longer to stop on wet, slippery roads. Turn on your headlights and watch for pedestrians, cyclists and motorbike riders, who can be harder to see.
