Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and northerly winds are expected during Saturday. Areas likely to be affected include the Wimmera, North Central and South West forecast districts and parts of the Mallee, Northern Country, North East and Central forecast districts. Frosts with temperatures down to -1 degrees are forecast for Friday morning in parts of the Northern Country, North Central, North East, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts. Frost Warning Temperatures at ground level can be many degrees lower than those recorded by standard weather stations, especially in calm conditions with very clear skies.

Reduced visibility in fog will make road conditions dangerous during Friday in the Eastern and South Eastern suburbs and Dandenong Ranges.
