Hail can occur and can e.g. provide transient slippery roads. Bigger hail can cause damage, e.g. to cars and crop. Lightning strikes can cause fires in buildings or forests/vegetation. Assess the need for preventive measures. Disconnect electrical appliances. Adjust driving speed according to the road/weather conditions. Seek shelter. Avoid open plains and large trees. Do not swim or bathe.
