Hazards: Hail up to 6 cm in diameter Wind gusts to 110 km/h Local rainfall amounts in excess of 50 mm Timing: This evening and overnight. Additional Information: Multiple thunderstorms have developed along a stalled front over southeastern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba. More thunderstorms are expected to move into the region from Montana and North Dakota through the early overnight hours. Significant severe weather is likely, continuing into the overnight hours. ### Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles. Large hail can cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
