rainfall warning in effect Showers, at times heavy, continue. A low pressure system approaching Kivalliq from northern Manitoba continues to bring showers to the area. Rainfall totals from Thursday to Saturday afternoon will be in the 20 to 35 mm range with locally heavier amounts where thunderstorms occur. The heavy showers will taper off throughout Saturday.
