Timing: This afternoon or early this evening. Hazards: Wind gusts up to 100 km/h. Heavy downpours. Up to ping pong ball size hail. Risk of a tornado. Discussion: Scattered thunderstorms are expected to push into the region this afternoon and continue into the early evening as a cold front pushes through. ### Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Very strong wind gusts can damage buildings, down trees and blow large vehicles off the road. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
