Heavy Rain Risk Area The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low pressure cell cover upper Vietnam with isolated thundershowers in the country while isolated heavy rain in the East. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
