Extreme Heat Warning issued July 27 at 11:54AM MST until August 2 at 8:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions, with temperatures around 106 to 112 expected below 4000 feet. * WHERE...Yavapai County Valleys and Basins. * WHEN...From 10 AM Friday to 8 PM MST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Most individuals will be at risk for heat-related illnesses without effective cooling or adequate hydration, especially with prolonged outdoor exposure. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
