Southeastern Graham County in southeastern Arizona... Cochise County in southeastern Arizona... Southern Greenlee County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 1100 PM MST. * At 801 PM MST, an area of blowing dust was along a line in New Mexico extending from near Lake Roberts to near Separ to 9 miles northeast of Alamo Hueco, moving west at 30 mph. This area of blowing dust is expected to cross the Arizona border by 920 PM MST. HAZARD...Between one and three miles visibility with strong wind in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists. IMPACT...Hazardous travel...Especially along Interstate 10 near the Willcox Playa. * This includes the following highways... Interstate 10 between mile markers 329 and 391. Locations impacted include... Douglas, Safford, Bisbee, Willcox, Clifton, Thatcher, Solomon, Morenci, Portal, Naco, San Jose, Bowie, Chiricahua National Monument, Roper Lake State Park, Safford Regional Airport, Pearce-Sunsites, Bisbee-Douglas Airport, Pima, Pirtleville, and Cochise. Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your foot off the brake. Motorists should not drive into blowing dust. PULL ASIDE STAY ALIVE!
