WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties WHEN...400 PM Monday July 06 to 400 PM Tuesday July 07 IMPACTS...Ozone Action Day Alert is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Hot and smoky weather conditions will result in ozone concentrations reaching the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category Monday afternoon and evening, with Unhealthy levels of ozone possible in northern and western parts of the Denver metro area. Additionally, particle pollution is elevated due to wildfire smoke. Ozone could reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category again Tuesday afternoon and evening.
