Flood Advisory issued June 3 at 11:54PM EDT until June 4 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Miami FL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following counties, Broward and Miami-Dade. * WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1154 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 5 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Miami, Hialeah, Miramar, Miami Gardens, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Miami Lakes, Hialeah Gardens, Opa-Locka, Miami Springs, Medley, Westview, Country Club, West Little River, Hard Rock Stadium, Pinewood, Palm Springs North, Gladeview, Golden Glades and Liberty City. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
