Flood Advisory issued June 17 at 4:00PM CDT until June 17 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northwest Indiana, including the following county, Porter. * WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 357 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain with rates of up to 1 to 2 inches per hour. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the advisory area, which will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
