In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin and Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Owen and Vigo. * WHEN...Through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall will impact southern portions of central Indiana through early Saturday. 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is expected with locally higher amounts. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. White River at Hazleton. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois... White River at Petersburg. Wabash River at Mount Carmel. Wabash River at Vincennes. .Widespread rainfall amounts of two to three inches over southern Indiana through midday Saturday is expected to prolong minor flooding or bring an additional crest on the lower White, lower Wabash, and at Seymour on the East Fork White. Minor flooding could continue into early next week on portions of the lower White and lower Wabash. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour. * WHEN...From Saturday afternoon to early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Pasture lands, agricultural lands and several county and state roads begin to flood. High water isolates a few river cabins. State Road 235 east of Medora and county roads near Shields and Vallonia flood. Roads that begin to flood include SR 258 east of Cortland, CR 725 N just north of the gaging site and Ewing Road near Brownstown. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 7.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 14.4 feet early Sunday morning.
