White River at Hazleton. White River at Petersburg. Wabash River at Mount Carmel. .Minor river flooding continues through at least Wednesday...on the White River below the confluence of the East Fork White...and on the Wabash River at Mount Carmel. River levels in these areas will rise or remain near steady through at least Monday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel. * WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, River Road in the Mount Carmel, Illinois area begins to flood. Lowland flooding in progress. A few local river roads are closed by high water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM EDT Sunday /6:45 PM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 21.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM EDT Sunday /6:45 PM CDT Sunday/ was 21.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
