THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN IOWA THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST IOWA BUENA VISTA CHEROKEE CLAY O'BRIEN PLYMOUTH SIOUX IN SOUTH DAKOTA THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA CLAY UNION YANKTON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALCESTER, BERESFORD, CHEROKEE, ELK POINT, HARTLEY, HAWARDEN, HULL, JEFFERSON, LE MARS, NORTH SIOUX CITY, ORANGE CITY, ROCK VALLEY, SANBORN, SHELDON, SIOUX CENTER, SPENCER, STORM LAKE, VERMILLION, AND YANKTON.

In west central Iowa, Ida and Woodbury. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches with isolated amounts exceeding 4 inches are expected.
