Flood Warning issued June 6 at 12:59PM CDT until June 6 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Des Moines IA * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of south central Iowa, including the following county, Marion. * WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1257 PM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Melcher-Dallas, Bussey, Hamilton and Marysville. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
