Flood Warning issued June 27 at 8:12AM CDT until June 27 at 11:00AM CDT by NWS Wichita KS * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kansas, including the following county, Reno. * WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone areas continues. Some roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 802 AM CDT, flooding impacts continue following Thursday Night's rainfall. - Rain has ended and no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hutchinson, South Hutchinson, Buhler, Haven, Nickerson, Pretty Prairie, Arlington, Turon, Partridge, Sylvia, Plevna, Abbyville, Yoder, Willowbrook, Langdon, Hutchinson Airport, Cheney Lake and Cheney State Park. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Continue to obey all road closures.
