Flood Advisory issued July 27 at 2:32AM EDT until July 27 at 3:45AM EDT by NWS Jackson KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the following county, Wayne. * WHEN...Until 345 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 232 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Monticello and Steubenville. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
