HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Black Hawk. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Flood Advisory issued July 7 at 4:47PM CDT until July 13 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Jackson MS ...The Flood Advisory is extended for the following rivers in Louisiana...Mississippi... Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Wilkinson, Adams and Concordia Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Natchez. * WHEN...Until Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 38 feet, Lowlands along the river in areas not protected by levees begin to flood. On both side of the river, there are areas that contain oil and gas wells; however, these are not affected until higher stages. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 41.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is currently cresting and is expected to begin a slow fall later this week. - Action stage is 38 feet. - Flood stage is 48 feet. If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternative route. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
