HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Black Hawk. Flood Advisory issued July 7 at 4:47PM CDT until July 13 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Jackson MS ...The Flood Advisory is extended for the following rivers in Louisiana...Mississippi... Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Wilkinson, Adams and Concordia Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Natchez. * WHEN...Until Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 38 feet, Lowlands along the river in areas not protected by levees begin to flood. On both side of the river, there are areas that contain oil and gas wells; however, these are not affected until higher stages. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 41.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is currently cresting and is expected to begin a slow fall later this week. - Action stage is 38 feet. - Flood stage is 48 feet. If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternative route. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
