At 303 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Sandy Bay, moving southeast at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Buoy. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Eastern Point Ma, The Coastal Waters East Of Cape Ann, Mass Bay Buoy 44029, Sandy Bay, Marblehead Neck, The Mouth Of The Merrimack River, Beverly Harbor, Boston Buoy 44013, Ipswich Bay, Thatcher Island, Jeffreys Ledge Buoy 44098, Essex Bay, and Plum Island.
