Timing: This evening. Discussion: Thunderstorms over Lower Michigan are expected to reach southwestern Ontario this evening. A few of these thunderstorms will be capable of producing hail up to ping pong ball size. At this time, the damaging wind and tornado threat appear to remain over Lower Michigan. ### Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
