Big Black River Near Bentonia affecting Yazoo and Madison Counties. Big Black River Near Bovina affecting Warren and Hinds Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Big Black River near Bovina. * WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Low-lying agricultural land near the river begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 26.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 28.5 feet tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 28.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
