Several roads are closed in the warning area and are expected to remain so for several more hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... St. Joseph, Atchison, Savannah, Gallatin, Wathena, Elwood, Mound City, Maysville, Highland, Troy, Country Club Villa, Country Club, King City, Oregon, Agency, Jamesport, Union Star, Gilman City, Pattonsburg and Amazonia. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. At 18.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east side of Rosendale is overtopped by flood waters. At 19.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east and west sides of Rosendale is under water. At 20.0 feet, State Route 48 is flooded on the east and west sides of town which prevents travel in or out of town. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:36 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.5 feet this evening.
