Several roads are closed in the warning area and are expected to remain so for several more hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... St. Joseph, Atchison, Savannah, Gallatin, Wathena, Elwood, Mound City, Maysville, Highland, Troy, Country Club Villa, Country Club, King City, Oregon, Agency, Jamesport, Union Star, Gilman City, Pattonsburg and Amazonia. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Grand River near Pattonsburg affecting Daviess and Gentry Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Grand River near Pattonsburg. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Low-lying farmland begins to flood. At 30.0 feet, Nearly all agricultural land and secondary roads in the Grand River floodplain flood. At 32.0 feet, U.S. Highway 69 south of Pattonsburg floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 30.9 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late this afternoon to 4.2 feet early Monday morning. It will then rise to 4.4 feet early Monday afternoon. It will fall to 3.7 feet early Tuesday afternoon. It will then rise to 3.9 feet early Wednesday morning.
