Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional heavy showers and thunderstorms will impact the area today. Localized rain amounts of over 2 inches in an hour will be possible, leading to areas of flash flooding. Central Salem County in southern New Jersey... * Until 230 PM EDT. * At 1027 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. * Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Cherry Hill, Evesham, Mount Laurel, Deptford, Voorhees, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Bellmawr, Woodbury, Pitman, Clayton and Berlin. This includes the following highways...
