Air Quality Alert issued July 16 at 4:22PM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC The Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection in Winston Salem NC has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for Ground Level Ozone, until 8 PM EDT this evening and again on Friday from 10 AM until 8 PM. An Air Quality Action Day means that Ground Level Ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.
