Heat Advisory issued July 15 at 9:47PM CDT until July 16 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Bismarck ND * WHAT...Heat index values and temperatures near 100. * WHERE...Southern North Dakota. * WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT /9 PM MDT/ Thursday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low temperatures will only fall into the 70s tonight, providing little relief from the heat. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
