Flood Advisory issued June 18 at 3:42AM EDT until June 18 at 6:30AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following county, in south central Ohio, Ross. * WHEN...Until 630 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 342 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Chillicothe, Greenfield, North Folk Village, Frankfort, Londonderry, South Salem, Andersonville, Bourneville, Lattaville, Austin, Mooresville and Hallsville. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
