Drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include... Delaware, Marysville, Powell, New California, Milford Center, Shawnee Hills, Ostrander, Magnetic Springs, Unionville Center, Stratford, Bellepoint, Broadway, Warrensburg, Pharisburg, Watkins, Leonardsburg, Columbus Zoo, and New Dover. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central Ohio.
