Flood Warning issued June 18 at 5:49AM EDT until June 18 at 7:45AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...The following counties, in south central Ohio, Adams, Highland, Pike and Ross. In southwest Ohio, Brown. * WHEN...Until 745 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 549 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Hillsboro, Waverly, Mount Orab, Piketon, Lynchburg, Winchester, Marshall, Sardinia, Seaman, Bainbridge, Cynthiana, Kincaid Springs, Highland Holiday, Rocky Fork Point, Belfast, Pike Lake, Russell, New Market, Emerald and Mowrystown. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
