Flood Watch issued April 27 at 12:29PM CDT until April 28 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Norman OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Oklahoma, including the following counties, Alfalfa, Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Cotton, Custer, Dewey, Garfield, Grady, Grant, Harper, Kay, Kingfisher, Kiowa, Logan, Major, Noble, Tillman, Washita, Woods and Woodward and northern Texas, including the following county, Wichita. * WHEN...Through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Northern Archer County in northern Texas... Wichita County in northern Texas... Northeastern Baylor County in northern Texas... * Until 800 PM CDT. * At 712 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles west of Walters to 7 miles northwest of Holliday, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Flood Advisory issued April 27 at 5:48PM CDT until April 27 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Norman OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Oklahoma, including the following county, Tillman and northern Texas, including the following county, Wichita. * WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 548 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
