Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued June 22 at 3:50AM CDT until June 22 at 11:00AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 373 IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN TEXAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 12 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS COLLIN COOKE DELTA DENTON FANNIN GRAYSON HOPKINS HUNT LAMAR MONTAGUE RAINS WISE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALLEN, BONHAM, BOWIE, BRIDGEPORT, CARROLLTON, COMMERCE, COOPER, DECATUR, DENISON, DENTON, EAST TAWAKONI, EMORY, FLOWER MOUND, FRISCO, GAINESVILLE, GREENVILLE, LEWISVILLE, MCKINNEY, NOCONA, PARIS, PLANO, POINT, SHERMAN, AND SULPHUR SPRINGS.

Special Weather Statement issued June 22 at 3:59AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX At 359 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Henrietta to Madill, Oklahoma. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Sherman, Gainesville, Bowie, Whitesboro, Nocona, Denison, Pottsboro, Collinsville, Muenster, St. Jo, Lindsay, Callisburg, Knollwood, Randell Lake, Lake Kiowa, Lake Amon G Carter, Eisenhower State Park, Lake Nocona, Hubert H Moss Lake, and Sunset. This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 487 and 503. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for north central Texas.
