Flood Advisory issued April 28 at 6:38AM CDT until April 28 at 8:30AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of Collin, Dallas, Denton, Kaufman and Rockwall Counties. * WHEN...Until 830 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The heavy rain has ended, but flooding of low lying and/or poor drainage areas may continue for a few hours until the water has had a chance to recede. Please continue to heed remaining road closures. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Dallas, Plano, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Richardson, Lewisville, Allen, Flower Mound, Rowlett, Desoto, Grapevine, Cedar Hill, Wylie, Coppell and Duncanville. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
