In northeast Texas, Delta, Henderson, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains and Van Zandt. * WHEN...Through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall totals of 1.5 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 5 inches. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The heavy rain has ended. Minor flooding of low lying and/or poor drainage areas may continue for a few hours until the water has had a chance to recede. Please continue to heed remaining road closures. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Gainesville, Nocona, Muenster, St. Jo, Lindsay, Lake Nocona, Lake Muenster, Hubert H Moss Lake, Nocona Hills, Montague, Bonita, Capps Corner, Bulcher, Illinois Bend, Spanish Fort, Marysville, Belcherville, Myra, Stoneburg and Sivells Bend. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
