In northeast Texas, Delta, Henderson, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains and Van Zandt. * WHEN...Through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall totals of 1.5 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 5 inches. Flood Advisory issued April 28 at 4:05AM CDT until April 28 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Hood, Johnson, Parker and Tarrant Counties. * WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water on roadways is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Euless, Haltom City, Burleson, Cleburne, Benbrook, White Settlement, Crowley, Forest Hill, Granbury, Richland Hills, Kennedale, Everman, Keene, Joshua, Alvarado and Rendon. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
