Fire Weather Watch issued July 11 at 1:33AM MDT until July 12 at 12:00PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY Fire Weather Watch for portions of Southeast Wyoming. The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon Sunday to 8 PM MDT Monday. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 417, 418, 423, and 430 through 434. * WIND... South 10 to 15 mph gusting up to 35 mph * HUMIDITY... Between 10 and 15 percent * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
